Products & Industry Applications
What is FFS film and why is it suitable for industrial packaging?
FFS (Form-Fill-Seal) film is a highly efficient material used in automated packaging lines, where the entire process—forming the bag, filling it with product, and sealing it—is completed in one continuous operation. This improves productivity and reduces labour costs. Owing to its durability, moisture resistance, and cost-effectiveness, FFS film is particularly well-suited to bulk and industrial packaging.
Manufactured primarily from PE (polyethylene), a versatile plastic known for its flexibility, strength, and chemical resistance, these films can be tailored in thickness, clarity, and performance to meet specific packaging requirements. This renders them ideal for protecting heavy or sensitive industrial goods during transport and storage. Furthermore, PE films are fully recyclable, supporting sustainability in industrial packaging solutions.
What types of FFS films do you supply?
We specialise in producing high-quality 3-layer co-extruded FFS films. Our films offer superior strength, excellent moisture and oxygen barriers, and enhanced durability. We provide options with UV protection to safeguard products from harmful sunlight exposure, as well as food-grade certified films that meet strict safety and hygiene standards. Additionally, our films can be enhanced with anti-slip properties and other custom additives to improve handling, performance, and product protection. These features make our films ideal for a wide range of industrial and food packaging applications, fully customisable to meet specific customer requirements.
Are your FFS films compatible with automated packaging machines?
Absolutely. Our FFS films work with all major vertical (VFFS) and horizontal (HFFS) form-fill-seal machines, offering excellent seal integrity, consistent thickness, and optional anti-static or slip properties for optimal performance.
Can FFS films be printed with company branding or safety markings?
Yes. Our FFS films can be printed with your logo, product information, safety warnings, and regulatory markings in high resolution, customised exactly as the customer requests.
Which industries typically use your FFS films?
Our FFS films serve a wide range of industries, including animal feed production, fertiliser manufacturing, chemical processing, construction (particularly for rubble and aggregates packaging), and ice packaging. Each solution offers industry-specific durability and protective qualities to meet unique product requirements.
What other plastic packaging products do you offer?
We supply rubble bags, ice bags, woven bags (for both heavy-duty and personal use), T-shirt carrier bags, and a full range of customisable plastic carrier bags. Click here to see our custom-printed carrier bags and packaging products.
